The Institute of Holistic Midwifery offers customized workshops based on the participants’ needs, as well as MEAC approved workshops.

Babies in the Breech Position – MEAC approved

This day-long MEAC approved workshop shares the process of birth for a baby in the breech position.  Participants also practice hand maneuvers that can be used to facilitate the birth of a baby in the breech position when needed.

Administering IVs

This day-long workshop shares the process of setting up and placing IVs, including hands-on practice.

Energy Work at Births

This 2-day workshop shares the option of using energy work, such as Reiki, at births.  Participants will experience and practice using hands-on energy techniques and become Usui Reiki 1 practitioners.

We now offer customized training to meet your individual learning needs!  Choose learning modules from IHM’s curriculum to create a weekend of  learning opportunities.  View our curriculum via our on-line school catalog to choose the topics you would like to include in your weekend of training.  Gather a group of 5-13 participants and an IHM instructor will facilitate a weekend of learning webinars for your group.  We also offer the option of coming to your area for an on-site seminar weekend of didactic or skills learning!
